Linda
McLaughlin has had a lifelong love of fabric -- but it wasn't until
1993, when she discovered fabric dyeing -- that her love of fabric
turned into an obsession.
In
1996, she started her own business -- Linda M Designs -- and started
selling her fabric at quilt shows. At that same time, Linda began
sharing her love of hand-dyed fabrics by teaching others how to
dye.
Linda
uses her fabrics to create art quilts and garments. She has had
quilts exhibited at Quilt Festival in Houston, Pacific International
Quilt Festival and the American Quilters Show in Paducah.
Currently,
Linda spends her non-dyeing time traveling to teach and to vend
at quilt shows. She also teaches small intensive workshops at her
home studio.
